About
I was born on April 17, 2000 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. I lived in Hemingford, Nebraska for the first 13 years of my life, where I attended Hemingford elementary and worked for my dad in his grocery store. I then moved to Lincoln in the summer of 2013 and started school at Malcolm Jr/Sr. high. I am now a senior in high school planning on either going to SCC to be a motorcycle technician, going into the U.S Navy to be a nuclear engineer, or go straight into the work force and start working straight out of high school.
Education
Malcolm High School
Raben’s Market 2009-Present
Carryout/Butcher
As a carryout, my job was to make sure shelves were stocked and faced, aisles were clean, produce was fresh, and to burn boxes. After all of that was done, I would clean the room where we cut meat, which leads me into my next job.
In the summer of 2014 I began cutting meat for and with my father. Over the past three years, I have developed knowledge on cutting meat, such as what cuts come off of what part of the animal, how to cut them, how to trim them, and how to price them.
Various farms 2010-2013
Part-time farmhand
When I wasn’t working for my father, I was working for different farmers all around the county I lived in, doing small jobs here and there, such as fixing fence, working on harvest crews, doing small equipment fixes, lawn care, cattle herding, filling planters, and cleaning up shops.
